The Happy Mouth Bits® Pony Double-Jointed Racing Dee features a mouthpiece covered in soft, flexible, yet extremely durable, apple-scented plastic. This mouth material encourages bit acceptance and softness. Core and cheeks are stainless steel. Slightly smaller dee cheeks than those in a king dee, they still provide some slight lateral guidance and help prevent the bit from sliding sideways in the horse’s mouth.
