Neue Schule Thoroughbred Weymouth Bit has a 12 mm Salox^® Gold mouthpiece and 7 cm stainless steel shanks.  It features a very mild, slim mouthpiece offering an even weight-bearing surface. This curb bit is popular for breeds such as Thoroughbreds, Arabians and Trakehners. It can be beneficial for the horse with a fussy mouth, and it may be used with a thicker bradoon for the sensitive mouth. Includes curb chain.

Salox Gold mouthpiece metal is a high copper alloy specifically formulated to reach rapidly and maintain the temperature of a horse’s mouth, and thereby encourage bit acceptance.
